SQ Win%

Short Definition:

Percent of games won in the season according to the ShotQuality Score which is based on the team's expected performance.

Long Definition:

A team's pythagorean win percentage using ShotQuality points rather than actual points scored. We use the common exponent for basketball pythagorean win percentage, 14.

SQ Win Percentage = (Expected points)14 / [(Expected points)14 + (Expected points allowed)14]
